On the 19th of April, MAINCODE takes part in the session “Chronicle of a Heat Foretold” at Biennale Tecnologia 2026 in Turin. Moderated by Ombretta Caldarice (MAINCODE Principal Investigator), the event brings together Eleni Myrivili, Nicola Tollin, and Pasquale Capizzi for an open discussion on how cities and communities adapt to extreme heat through research, policy, and practice. The session addresses urban climate adaptation and explores the challenges of designing more resilient, inclusive, and climate-responsive cities in the context of rising temperatures and climate change.
MAINCODE has been funded by the Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca (MUR), the Innovation Fund of Denmark (IFD), and General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI) under the Driving Urban Transitions Partnership which has been co-funded by the European Commission. MAINCODE runs from 2025 to 2027
