MAINCODE takes part in the National Event of the European Climate Pact Italy,
organised by EuCliPa.IT – the Italian Association of the European Climate Pact, held on 23 May 2026 in Milan. The event brings policymakers, researchers, educators, local authorities, and citizens together to discuss the role of schools in supporting the climate transition. Ombretta Caldarice (PI) presented the MAINCODE project and its approach to transforming schoolyards into climate shelters through nature-based solutions and co-design, promoting schools as resilient and inclusive spaces for both climate adaptation and community well-being.
