On 28 May 2026, MAINCODE contributes to the International Symposium “Networks, Markets & People for Transitioning Settlement Systems” with a presentation titled “When Nature Leads Pathways to Climate Adaptation and Biodiversity Enhancement Insights from Turin”. The presentation explores how NbS can support climate adaptation and biodiversity enhancement by translating international and European policy frameworks into local planning and urban interventions. Drawing on the MAINCODE project, the contribution presents a mapping of NbS and NbS-related actions in Turin, highlighting their role in strengthening urban resilience, informing climate adaptation strategies, and supporting the development of urban climate shelters in schoolyards through a place-based approach.
