Comprehensive stakeholder map in Turin and Halandri

The Report, led by ULAB and co-led by COMMONSPACE, presents a detailed mapping of the institutional and non-institutional stakeholders in Turin and Halandri, who will be central to the co-design of Urban Climate Shelters (UCS) in selected schoolyards. This Report is a key milestone within MAINCODE Work Package 2 and lays the groundwork for future participatory design and implementation phases. The methodological approach adopted is context-sensitive, considering the unique socio-spatial dynamics of the cities. By combining desktop research and with field-based investigations and informal dialogue with local actors, the process captures a broad and nuanced picture of the local stakeholder landscape. The results, visual maps and stakeholder list, are essential for identifying leverage points, reducing risks, and ensuring that the UCS implementation process planned for 2026 is inclusive, equitable, and rooted in local needs and capacities.
