MAINCODE at NMP 2026: Co-design as a Cornerstone for Decision-Making

On 28 May 2026, MAINCODE contributes to the International Symposium “Networks, Markets & People for Transitioning Settlement Systems” with a presentation titled “Co-design as a Cornerstone for Decision-Making: Stakeholders Mapping Analysis for Climate Adaptation in Turin”. The presentation explores the role of stakeholder mapping as a key step in the co-design of urban climate shelters in schoolyards, highlighting how participatory approaches can support more inclusive, transparent, and effective climate adaptation decision-making. Drawing on the MAINCODE pilot in Turin, the contribution demonstrates how combining co-design with strategic assessment tools can strengthen urban resilience and support the replication of climate adaptation solutions across European cities.
